Lady Ophelia Greystone-Stormslayer - Founder

If you had told Ophelia, that within a few years she would become a true world savant, she would have laughed. But sure enough she has survived a war, become a Diplomat, and run a Trading Company and dealt with all the feelings along the way. With the blessing of her pledged house, in honor of her liege of life and limb, Lord Haurchefant, The Cafe Fortemps became.A patroness of the arts and crafts of all forms, you will most likely find her listening to Wandering Minstrels and checking out Artisans Faires all over Eorzea. This of course is always after her morning training session with fellow knights.

Athena Stormslayer - Team Siren

Athena is a Lady full of spirit and life. When she heard that her sister Ophelia had decided to give up the Cafe, she decided to take up the mantle and lead the Cafe from her new hometown of the Siren Provinces.In her spare time, you can find her tending and working in relation of trades. An apprenticed Weaponsmith and former Bounty Hunter, Athena is not afraid to get her hands dirty and do what needs to be done. Now a days however, she prefers to do it from her smithy forge instead of dungeons.

This drink is only made normally during early spring has become more accessible now that the brewery is allowed to sell libations to the public. The first cocktail recipe perfected by Ophelia and Haurchefant, this cocktail includes Rolandberry infused simple syrup, Alabathian Bitters, and Camp Dragonhead Ligonberry Vermouth.

Cafe House Rules

The Café Fortemps is an in-character focused café that is open to all levels of Roleplayers in Eorzea. We roleplay under the simple premise of "Keep all things simple and classy not trashy."While we don't condemn any style of RP, we acknowledge that some people are very sensitive to certain things, and all RP'ers come to this game with some ongoing struggles going on. (Yes, even if you don't want to admit it, you too come with some!)That being said, we roleplay with mindfulness and respect for our fellow roleplayer in our minds. We hope that by being a part of our community you will honor that as well. As such we have instituted a few house rules to ensure your time with us it fruitful and fun:

RP CONSENT AND RESPECTING BOUNDARIES ARE HARD RULES HERE. Anything else is NOT ACCEPTABLE and we have a zero-tolerance policy in regards to this. If you encounter roleplayers or are in a roleplay scene with others disrespecting this rule, please /tell a staff member IMMEDIATELY.Please strive to refrain from spoilers as much as possible. We are all in difference places in the game and we go through the MSQ at our own paces. Please utilize our Discord in the #rpworkshopsection where we talk about how to talk about MSQ events without spoiling. (Because Lady Ophelia loves to write plot hooks.)If you are VERY new, please don't hesitate to tell one of the hosts in /tell and we are more than happy to help you as much as we can and help you feel comfortable.While we will do what we can to help get you chatting, we are not held responsible for the conversation (or lack thereof.) So we encourage you to take the chance, make mistakes and get to chatting! If however, you wish to just observe, please let us know via /tell. But know, it's more fun to get into the conversation than to sit on the sidelines!While we all conduct ourselves as adults, this is a "Classy not Trashy Environment" at The Café Fortemps. This means there is no ERP or +18 chat and behaviors are allowed outside of private party chats. Staff has every right to ask you to change your sitting position or any language as needed to keep things classy.No racist, xenophobic, body or gender shaming will be allowed. Period. You will be warned once, and after that, asked to leave. Staff are also trained to take screenshots of any negative behavior and you will be reported. The more you do it, the more you will be reported.No Harassment or bullying of characters will be allowed. Not even if being done through RP means and you have the consent of the other participants.We ask for the sake of the RP quality that you refrain from text speak in-character. OOC with the (( )) is okay, but please refrain from the LOL and 2morrow text speak as much as possible.
